Proposed Capital Plan Unanimously Approved by the Board

The 2012-2021 Proposed Capital Plan has received unanimous approval by the Board of Supervisors.   This plan includes figures on the costs of delivering the America’s Cup, making seismic repairs to critical facilities, and improving streets and parks without going beyond our means.  In total, we believe the City and its partner agencies can deliver almost $24.8 billion in total infrastructure investments without raising property tax rates or overburdening the General Fund.

Discussion on Public-Private Partnerships

Monday’s March 7th Capital Planning Committee meeting will include presentations and discussion on Public-Private Partnerships.  Two experts in the field, Alistair Sawyers and Gary Moriarty, will be presenting.  The meeting, at Room 305 in City Hall, begins at noon.  Presentations are expected to begin after 12:30.
