Mayor’s Transportation Task Force 2030

Background

During his 2013 State of the City address, San Francisco Mayor Lee announced the creation of a Transportation Task Force to develop a coordinated set of priorities and actionable recommendations for funding the City’s transportation infrastructure between now and the year 2030. This Task Force represents a first in a generation look at identifying new local investment to address the City’s transportation needs.

On November 25, 2013, the Transportation Task Force presented its final findings and recommendations to the Mayor. Presentations given to the Task Force can be found on the Task Force site here. The final report delivered to the Mayor can be downloaded here.

As the recommendations move forward, they will become part of the Capital Plan. In an effort to share information and Task Force recommendations, representatives from the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency and the Department of Public Works, in coordination with the Mayor’s Office and the Office of the Controller are continuing the dialogue with the community. Presentations and meeting documentation for each of these presentations can be found below. For more information about these meetings and to learn more about the continuing work of the City to build on the recommendations of the Task Force, please use the contact information below.
